It took several years, several stars coming and going, eras, legendary eras, but Paris Saint-Germain have finally laid their hands on their first ever Champions League title, and they did so in style, being the first team to ever win the trophy by five goals.

Crystal Palace won the first major trophy in the club’s history with victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley. Eberechi Eze was Palace’s hero when he crowned a superb counter attack by sweeping home Daniel Munoz’s cross, 16 minutes into the game.
Barcelona have been crowned champions of LaLiga after a 2-0 win against local rivals Espanyol. Second half goals from sensational Lamine Yamal and precise Fermin Lopez secured a 28th league title for head coach Hansi Flick in his first season in charge, earning him a domestic treble as well.
Inter Milan produced an extraordinary performance over two legs and 210 minutes of football, including a late, late turnaround to beat Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate in a thrilling, all-time classic encounter in the Champions League semifinal. Just like in the first leg in Spain, Inter raced into a 2-0 lead, only to be pegged by Barcelona. Arsenal were knocked out of the Champions League by imperious PSG after a 3-1 aggregate defeat in their semifinal encounter. The Gunners went into the match 1-0 down after being edged out by the French side in London in the first leg of the tie with the lone goal coming from Ousmane Dembele, who has been unstoppable since the start of the year.
