Aston Villa have reportedly agreed a loan deal with Manchester United for Marcus Rashford. The loan comes with an option to buy this summer for £40m, and Villa will cover 70% of the salary. It was reported that Villa made the move as a result of the sale of Jhon Duran to Al Nassr. Tottenham Hotspur suffered a defeat at home against Leicester City, who had lost their previous seven games, piling pressure on manager Ange Postecoglou. Richarlison initially put Spurs ahead after 33 minutes in his first league start of the season, but Leicester shocked the home crowd with two goals in the first five minutes of the second half to turn the game around.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola revealed to the press after Manchester City’s emphatic victory on Saturday that captain Kyle Walker has asked to leave the club. The skipper was left out of City’s squad for the 8-0 FA Cup win over Salford. After the game, Guardiola said: “Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore the options to play abroad at the end of his career. In his mind, he would like to explore it, to go to another country, to play the last years somewhere else for many reasons. For that reason, I prefer playing other players whose mind is here.”
