The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) arranged the draws for the upcoming Champions League season at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Thursday afternoon. 

Liverpool will take on Real Madrid at Anfield in a draw that sets up a reunion between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool, after he left Anfield this summer, while Chelsea face Barcelona in one of the most anticipated matches of the exciting league phase. 

A return for Kevin de Bruyne was also confirmed as Napoli will be going to the Etihad. Manchester City will also be facing Real Madrid for the sixth time in the past seven seasons. Arsenal also take on Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich. Fellow English sides Tottenham and Newcastle were drawn against current holders Paris Saint-Germain.
