The 27-year-old Canadian forward, Dillon Brooks, earned a spot on the NBA All-Star second team this summer, showcasing his expertise on the defensive end of the court. However, rumors of his potential move to Shanghai have surfaced, leaving fans wondering about his future destination.

The Memphis Grizzlies’ departure from the playoffs has been a source of embarrassment, marking it as one of the most disappointing exits in the past decade. The team’s departure from the NBA playoffs was less than favorable, leaving fans disheartened.

Questions have arisen regarding Dillon Brooks’ impact on the Memphis team, as his contributions are being evaluated. Despite this, Brooks remains a sought-after free.

Dillon Brooks excels at trash-talking on and off the court, although it often leads to undesirable outcomes. As the offseason approaches, it may seem challenging for Brooks to find a suitable destination, especially when negative sentiments on Twitter are dominating the conversation.

Despite LeBron James’ tough posturing on Twitter, criticizing Dillon Brooks’ shooting percentage of 31% and averaging only 10 points per game, Brooks’ most significant impact lies in his defensive contributions to the Grizzlies. The team struggled against the Lakers due to their short-handed roster, and the absence of Steve Adams was sorely felt during the playoffs, which ultimately contributed to the Grizzlies’ loss.

Dillon Brooks proved to be a formidable defender this season. He successfully limited opponents’ shooting percentages by an impressive 3.0% compared to other defenders, establishing himself as the best perimeter player in this category. Additionally, his defensive prowess is evident in his 108.5 defensive rating, ranking him sixth in the NBA among players who played a minimum of 30 minutes per game.

If we remove all the negative PR going on about Dillon brooks we will note that he was still quite a great player this season.

Whether fans like it or not Dillon Brooks will never smell the shores of China at any moment of his NBA Career. Teams like Brooklyn Nets and Celtics are all lobbying for Brooks. The greatest surprise however is to see Dillon Brooks in a Lakers uniform next season.

The only concern with Dillon is getting him a behavioral therapy coach irrespective of any team he goes to.
